- Reserve the campsite - done.
- My knees have been bothering me, and I'm worried about making it up hills with a fully loaded touring bike. We're not going to take all that much along, but we'll be hauling camping gear. The route I have planned works out to 35 miles over two days, with only two hugeantic hills. I hope.
- We need to get a rear rack on Martha's bike. We were going to wait until Martha started hauling anything, but taking a little weight off my bike will help my knees. We have the rack, but getting it on Martha's Navigator will be a little tricky. The bike shop should be getting special, longer rack stays in a shipment today.
- Tents: We're taking the 2-person tent, so we'll be cramped. The other option is a larger, heavy tent we use for car camping. Five times heavier than the backpacking tent.
- This'll be our first time hauling a camping load for two people. I'd like to pack the bikes a little in advance of the night before we leave, so we'll have time to address any problems.
