I also got an inquiry about teaching from a student. I don't think I'm taking this one, but it reminded me I have an additional reason to keep the studio ready. (I'm also up on http://www.musicstaff.com as a guitar instructor.)

I've moved into the house, and the room-that-will-be-the-studio is filled with stuff. A lot of it is of course Martha's things, as this was formerly her room, but much of it is musical equipment: Guitars, a power amp, boxes of wedding gifts, and so on. It's going to take a while to organize, but I'm hoping I can have a studio by the end of July.

The panelling thing is too expensive, I checked. I think a pegboard would be nice, and serve much the same purpose. And we've decided to put a bookshelf or two in there after all. The only catch is that I have to build it.
