It looks as if we're going to be able to fit all (or most) of our bookcases out in the living room. Therefore, lining the walls of the main studio room with books isn't going to happen, unless it's the paperbacks. (They don't have a home just yet.)

So, I'm thinking about how to "deaden" the room. The usual tricks apply: Carpet, guitars on the walls (essentially random projections). Would wallpaper help? I know wood paneling does; Panelling the room my be an option.

The wedding was wonderful. Our honeymoon in Québec was quite amazing. Now I have to move. The schedule looks something like this:

Now -- 15 June
I'll pack up as much of my belongings as possible while moving all the recording and music equipment from the old apartment to the new one. Martha cleans out as much as is possible from her room in the new apartment.

16 Jun -- 31 Jun
As Ellen is planning to move out on the 15th, I'll start moving in properly at this time. These two weeks are the "core" moving time. At this time, Jenn will likely still be in the apartment (she's not yet found a place), so Martha and I will (tentatively) set up in Ellen's old bedroom once she's out of the apartment.

1 Jul -- 15 Jul
I'm vacating the old apartmwent at the end of this time period, so this is my two weeks to clean the apartment, spackle the walls, and so on. Also do any last bits of moving (hopefully not too many).

15 Jul -- ??
Get Reptile studios set up in it's new home. Recording to resume.
