MIDI and Piano
I've been continuing my piano adventures. Tell Me How You Feel not only sounds good on piano, I think it's more a piano song than a guitar one. I'm thinking I'll take a dupe of the song and try adding piano to it. The existing parts are all quite good, so I see no reason to re-record anything. (And Craig did a killer vocal, I want to keep that.)
Now, if I can find a way to sync the MIDI output of the piano with the MD8, I'll be all set.
Speaking of MIDI, I hooked the keyboard up to the drum machine last night with a MIDI cable; it sounds very good, and you can in fact get a good amount of expression. But it's not so easy to play drums on a keyboard. A drum controller is called for. But a decent 8-pad starts at $520... I think this is my next major purchase. I need more students! :)
